Terms of service

Service

GetVinCode provides vehicle history reports from third-party data providers (such as CARFAX and AutoCheck) and free vehicle information from public sources (such as NHTSA) and partner data services.

Reports

Reports are provided as received from the data providers. Not every accident, repair or event is reported to them, so a report cannot guarantee a vehicle's condition. Always inspect a car before buying.

Independence

GetVinCode is an independent service and is not affiliated with CARFAX, Experian (AutoCheck), Copart or IAAI. Their names are trademarks of their owners.

Payment and delivery

The price is shown before you pay. After payment the report is delivered on our website, usually within minutes and at most within 2 hours. Keep your order link — the report stays available there.

Use

Reports are for your own use when deciding whether to buy a vehicle. Reselling reports is not allowed.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
